Ordered the house special and it was pretty dang good. Fresh ingredients, fresh bread, I mean tip of the cap. I believe he was the owner, sweet older gentleman said it would take 10 or 15 minutes, which was no problem and delivered it to my car for me with a free drink and mini banana! What a gem. This place will get my business again!

I have been going to this sandwich spot since 2013 and I can definitely say that no other banh mi's that I've tried in the past can even compare to the ones here. I always order the Tofu Banh Mi and order extra cucumber ~ They toast their bread to perfection and the condiments/sauce ratio is spot on. I love their sandwiches so much that I have been recently coming at least once a week or once every other week. I drive here from Cypress, so I stopped coming on a regular basis ~ but started again recently. The owner (man) who always takes the orders is such a delight. He likes to interact with his customers and always has a smile on his face. *I believe he even recognizes me from the past because of my name and my order I believe the lady in the kitchen is probably also an owner, but I haven't interacted with her much~ However, after my last visit last week, she said "See you next week!" And I couldn't agree more. The vibe here is definitely a mom & pop restaurant ~ although the he space is small in here, the vibe is more personal, intimate and engaging/friendly. This is what makes me continue to come here after all these years ~ besides the taste of course

I found this place on Yelp and, with its high rating, decided to give it a try. The shop is in a small strip mall and I almost drove past it without noticing. Since it was a weekday morning, there were plenty of parking spots. The uncle behind the counter quickly greeted me and asked if it was my first time there. When I said yes, he recommended the combination banh mi sandwich as their best and most popular option. I decided to go for it and also ordered an iced Vietnamese coffee. He said it would take 10-15 minutes to prepare, and since it's a takeout-only place, he suggested calling ahead next time to avoid waiting. There are no seats in this small shop, so I waited outside. While waiting, the uncle gave me a complimentary jasmine iced tea and a coffee candy, which was so nice of him! The jasmine tea was light and refreshing, with no added sugar. He mentioned they grow their own jasmine and make the tea from it, which is really cool. When my sandwich was ready, both he and his wife thanked me profusely for supporting their business. They were so pleasant and kind. I ate the sandwich in my car, and it was fantastic. The bread was crusty on the outside and soft inside, with a well-balanced flavor from the meat and fresh vegetables. It was very satisfying. I'll definitely be back when l'm in the area. Was on my lunch break and wanted to try something different ! I found this cute little store and glad that I did. The gentleman who is the owner greeted me looked at me and said are you a new customer... I said yes I am! He told me about the specials and I ordered Turkey and cheese and a Thai ice tea. He was super nice have me a free tea drink and asked for me to sit in the car while they make my order. He came back with my order and it had a little muffin as a freebie so cute! The sandwich itself was good, for cheese they use simple American cheese the Turkey was good and the bread was good I prefer softer bread but it was fine. I will be back for sure and try something else such a clean nice shop with a lovely owner!
